Got a call from 202-846-0115 some automated message claiming to be the IRS and that I need to call ASAP and do not block this number as they have my SSN. Automated message said to call 202-846-0499. Not even going to waste my time with this, blocking the number.
This is the second time this year. they say that they are the IRS and will bring criminal charges against me. I don't believe that a [***] would be calling our American people to say we owe money.
I got one too. Tried to return the call just to make sure I was hearing this right but kept getting disconnected. The message was too garbled to completely understand. I know I don't owe anybody any substantial amount of $$. And what I do owe is being taken care of. If they want more money from me they'll have to get in line.
I'm enlisted in the DONOTCALL registry, but still getting automated calls from this #, telling me the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me if I don't return the call ASAP.
