I DO NOT answer phone unless I recognize number. My ans. machine is NEVER on. Friends/relatives know my cell. If I answer then YES, they will sell the number. I keep a LIST beside my phone with these numbers and when a new number comes in, I find it n call notes. This has cut down on many, many calls because I DO NOT ANSWER.
Thank you for sharing that Bob... I came here today when I Googled "what does Incoming Baby mean on Caller ID" (it auto filled in for me, that is how many times people are looking this up!) Over the last 6 years, my ignoring the calls I know are from telemarketers etc (I don't answer any number I do not know and like another said, figure if it's important they will leave a message; I have NO numbers blocked except my phone will not take caller's who intentionally "Block" their number; they will have to dial *82 to unblock their phone on a per call basis if they want it to ring in my house) and compared to the beginning of getting this recycled phone number for a residence, my unwanted calls have dropped 90%. My mom at her nearby house however, has never had SO much trouble as she is right now. But this call I just got saying INCOMING BABY- I was like, wtf? Of course I didnt answer it but looked up the area code 515 and it said it is a Des Moines, Iowa code. Glad I did not answer it and glad I came here to see what you all had to say. Bob, you say it's a political call ... good to know though absolutely sickening at the Called ID they chose to use. Next thing we know, Brad and Angelina will be calling our phones!
Got a call from this phone # Caller ID shows INCOMIMG BABY what is that?!! I tired of these scamming calls been getting call all week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
These Telepests have been harassing us with numerous calls from various numbers including this 202 number TWICE today, alone, as well as 540-628-9584 "In Stafford, VA" (6 calls in June 2016); 866-410-0461; 866-410-0458 and 914-294-5465. Sometimes they say they are "Right to Life" and other times they say they are "March of Dimes" but either way we DO NOT give over the phone to STRANGERS, and SOME of these numbers have been deemed as totally FAKE & INVALID (including this 202 number), so why would we believe they are who they say they are?
