Who called from 2028638500

No message just the number and District of Columbia, on the caller ID

I got the same thing - no message. Caller ID says District of Columbia. Called two days in a row so far.

It's the Republican National Committee, and they've done this to me as well.  Unfortunately for them my cell phone number is on the national Do Not Call registry and they've now been reported to the feds for violating that (I've been on the registry for well over 31days).  If you want to manually remove yourself from their "spam" calls, dial their membership services line at 202-863-8743 and give them your number.

Sorry, Sabrina, but you're mistaken.  The national "Do Not Call" registry applies only to commercial solicitors.  It specifically allows political phone calls like this, even to numbers on the list.

Political messages are exempt from the do not call list.  Thank you US Representatives and Senators for that one.
