caller ID was Washington DC. A voice said "the IRS has filed a lawsuit against you" to get more information you must call. BULL! IRS does not contact you by phone. Blocked the number!
At 0730 I was awakened by call, supposedly from the IRS saying to return the call to provide information, as the IRS would be filing a lawsuit against me. Oddly enough, the woman didn't mention anything about taxes, or back taxes!
Got a call from 202-864-0148 said "the IRS has filed a lawsuit against you" to get more information you must call. I know it is from a scammer. Therefore, I did not answer the phone. When the call ended, I called back the number about 20 times, and played back their message. After my first 4 calls, the guy from the other started to t-off and yell "F*ck" each time I called back. After the 20 calls, I think they have enough lesson for 1 day.
Received 2 calls. Both left the same robotic voicemail. The message left was something like "Please contact our office at xxx-xxx-xxxx number." (I'm not sure what number was provided.) Deleted VM. I will not call them.
