I received a call and did not answer. Message saying that I am avoiding their call and it is a 2nd attempt and that I should call back or good luck with what will unfold before me. So I call back and a foreign sounding male answers Dept of Treasury Legal affairs and say I have a lawsuit filed on me. I continue to probe them saying I have a past phone number of a deadbeat that I get calls on all the time. What name was associated with the phone. They finally tell me James Jack Arnold (My name and my Dads name) and that the IRS has filed a lawsuit against me. I say that is not my full name but the first of my name and the first of my Dads, which name are they trying to contact I challenge the person that IRS/Treasury initiates issues by mail. At this point the caller hangs up and I immediately call back and they hang up again. After calling back about 4 times a female answers and I ask why they hung up. She says it must have been the wrong name. I challenge her with the same information about IRS using mail and she says why should I make trouble.

Some man with a accent answered when I called back and when I asked questions hung up. I called back...he hung up again. I did this 2 other times and he finally said what he had to say and tolde the police will be here to arrest me within 40 minutes...still waiting lol.
This is completely fraudulent. Unless you have been arrested or there is a warrant out how in the world can you be due for a court appearance? Grand jury? Seriously? This is total BS and fraud/extortion. Pay money to settle a criminal case? Pay money to the IRS over the phone? What a bunch of [***].
How is law enforcement not involved?
