Indian scammers saying they work out of Los Angeles, California and want to offer me a three month security system. They said they work with other big companies, and when I asked which ones, they said "US Home Protection" (totally not real).
My caller ID came up with Gibson Dunn C (There is an actual law firm called Gibson, Dunn, Crutcher, with offices in a few US cities) but the phone number came back as listed to lawyer in Washington DC, Christopher H. Buckley. A bit of poking turned up reports of an sleezy debt collector in Denver using the name "Gibson Dunn Law Firm" that was running phony debt scams about 2 years ago. So it looks like there is a scammer using a new number for either debt collecting or for the Home Security Scams as the op above me mentioned. If you get a call from this number, be suspicious!
