Robocall about credit card interest rates. I've received the exact same call from many other phone numbers, all fake just like this one. This is a scam trying to get your card number and personal info. Block the number.
These scammers called a phone line which we only use for an alarm system. There is no phone connected to this phone line, just an old-fashioned caller ID box. The scammers call many times, but I don't even hear a phone ringing. And every few weeks I look at the caller ID box and just laugh and laugh...
The latest " Cardholder services" scam. It sure is fun making them wait several minutes while you get your card. Ties them up from suckering anyone during this time.
Robo call about credit card interest rates, I pushed the number to talk to someone (my objective is to waste as much time of theirs as I can). I guy with maybe an Indian accent picked up and said his name was Mark Foster and wanted to confirm that I wanted to lower my credit card rates and I said sure. He said I had such a good credit score I qualified for lower rates (I do not carry any credit card debt and do not pay credit card interest). He asked how many credit cards am I currently using and I said “A Lot!” He asked twice which card do I use the most and I said “my library card”. He then hung up on me. I’m sorry that I only wasted about 1 minute of their time. I will try to do better next time.
