SPAM OR SCAM: DO NOT ANSWER
Our business received two phone calls today from 202-997-8847, which shows up as a "Wireless Caller" on the Caller ID. Upon answering, they have their side of the line muted so that you are unable to hear anyone. After answering with our business name and asking May I help you? 4 or 5 times, they hang up. I called the number back after the 2nd call in 2 hours and the call goes to a Verizon automated message which says "the number you have dialed has been changed, disconnected or is no longer in service." I blocked the number via our telephone system.
i answer phone and they hang up after a minute, just enough time for me to grab their number off caller ID so i can check it out.
The gatekeeper is on it! i cant believe this person is actually getting paid to hang up 8 hours a day
