CALLER ID: CONNECTICUT TIME OF CALL: 11:48AM 5/6/08 203-201-2000
To My Fellow Americans,
Since the advent of caller id have you learned nothing? It seems not. If you see a simple number or the name Connecticut; do actually think the State of Conneticut is calling you? Do you really think you that important. I believe you must have voicemail and if so utilize unless you like listening to heavy breathing, Indian accented fakers and the such. Get yourselves a life and stop answering these moronic calls. A word to the wise is more than sufficient.
I just received a call from this number (203-201-2000) and it was a service for Text to landline service. My sister in law sent a text message to my home phone wishing me a happy mothers day. It stated it was from her cell number.
Hey … do you happen to know what service it was that she used?
I think it would be really cool to be able to send a text message to the house phone (those times that I am out and need to get a quick message home, but can’t talk on the phone).
I got a similar automated message. I answered the phone b/c my spouse was out of state and I didn't know the area code.
The recorded message stated "This is a message from ALLTEL wireless. You have been sent a text from a cellphone to a landline. Please press #1 to hear the message."
I hung up, but now am wondering if it was real.
