called 3 times yesterday and 3 times today. left no message.
I recommend dialing *57 (call trace) after any unknown phone call, and keep a list for yourself, as evidence. Your phone-carrier won't tell you who is calling you, but the police can subpoena that information. When you have a "sufficient" number of unidentified calls on your list, call the local cop-shop. Perhaps, you can insist that charges be brought, at state and federal levels, against these harassers and scammers. The FTC and FCC can levy stiff fines - MAKE THEM DO IT! Call your friendly congressmen and senators at state and federal posts. Call your state Consumer Affairs folks, local news publishers, and even your county freeholders. This is an ELECTION YEAR, people!

caller claimed to be calling from Golf Digest she wanted to renew my subscription. Knew that Golf Digest does not do this. I called Golf Digest and they said they never call always done by mail or email. Gave them the number, they said they would check on it.
