Have called my cell 5 or 6 times in last week. I never answer unknown numbers. My VM actually records end of their message, but I have no idea who they are or what they're selling. Wondering how long before they stop calling an unanswered number. Possibly my VM picking up is why they keep calling though. Hate hate hate these scumbags. Too bad it must keep paying for them to do it. Stupid ppl keep them in business.
I just filed online complete at do not call.gov, been registered all year, they call over and over again about alaram system; I've already had one, I worry it's a criminal company trying to figure out if we have one ot rob us; please file complaints, may call police!!!!!!!!!!
You do understand that these calls, or at least the vast majority of these calls do not actually come from the US? They have spoofed phone numbers but they are mostly non US calls
That is why the Do Not Call list will not help - IT IS NOT WHAT PEOPLE THINK IT IS!
We have no jurisdiction in other countries and those countries do not care!
Even the very few companies that ARE from the US, they won't won't stop - they aren't legit - they move around, change the numbers and stay in business for years that way.
PLUS charities can call
political places can call
surveys can call
anyone you have ever done business with can call (even if you forgot about them!)
If you enter a contest - you have just given a whole bunch of people the right to call!
ALSO YES OF COURSE NEVER ADMIT TO ANYONE YOU DON'T HAVE A GOOD ALARM SYSTEM! ALWAYS SAY YOU HAVE ONE AND IT WORKS JUST IN CASE THEY ARE CRIMINALS - THAT HAS KNOWN TO HAPPEN
203-538-0911 is criminal, trying to get them shut down; we're on the do not call list; we have been telling them over and over again that we have an alarm system, for almost 2 years, won't stop
Got a call from this number and they did not respond when I said hello. Call it back and get "The number you have reached has been reported in trouble"
Appears from other sites that this is a telemarketing firm.
Got a call from this number. Did not answer. Called it back and said to press any digit to be put on "do not call" list. I'll bet. Am so tired of having my time interrupted by unwanted callers. Must be a way to stop it.
