i have looked up this number 202-470-3185 its a cell number the phone carrier level 3 communications LLC-DC WASHINGTON.DC DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA if we can find this much out on them then why cant they be stop
203-756-9834 Called me and an Indian sounding woman said they were calling from the "United States Government Department of Grants", I mentioned that the US government did not have a "Department of Grants" and that it coud be a felony for a company to misrepresent themselves as part of the federal government. They hung up.
I got the same as everyone else... a woman of a heavy accent told me she worked for the department of treasury and wanted to let me know I qualified to receive a 7,800 grant to be used toward bills, education, etc... but what really flagged me is when she said I can receive this grant in 45 mins to my checking account and there is no paperwork to fill out. Now first of all I'm a full time student and know that all government grants required some kind of paperwork and since when does the government give you a large amount of money like this and have it to you within 45 mins... right! As she was talking I googled the number and found this site... people please be more aware of scams out there. If it's too good to be true it most likely is.
This is scam. This people asks for your credit card to put your money. BE ALERT.
If the goverment have money to give around, they should invest in getting jobs for americans, not grants.
