just received a call not nice people. telling me I am going to be arrested and so forth. Cash advance is the company suing me, called them and they know nothing about it. Doesn't even have my correct address.
they called me today before i went to work and threatened to fax over a warrant or some bs they said to my job and told me i was going to jail. They guy right off the bat was looking for an argument so i cussed him out fully and hung up.
I just got the same phone call! This man said I owe them money and his client wants his money back! He then stated they were going to arrest me and then but a law suit against me, also they were going to contact my employer! Well when I told them "I don't have an employer." (full time college student) they said "oh you are not employed?" I then ask for their information cause we just had to file Bankruptcy due to my husbands business, they said "you can not file bankruptcy on this!" in a loud aggressive tone, and started being rude as hell!!! This scares me cause not only did they have the last four numbers of my social, but they then stated the whole thing! SO they have my social...now what???? They would not give me any other contact information except, to have my attorney contact them and then he hung up. I called back and ask for his name, the business name, and contact information. The man in a loud voice said "I TOLD YOU TO HAVE YOUR ATTORNEY CALL!" and hung up again!
