Just received a message from "Atty Shawn Woods, State Atty General" at that number. When I dialed the number, the person who answered just said, "Hello. How may I help you?" They didn't identify theirself, they didn't identify what business I had reached, or anything, so I hung up. The man sounded a lot like someone who's been harrassing me at work and leaving several messages on my phone each and every day.
I just got one of these. I got one approximately a month ago too. I live in Michigan, so there's nbo way it can be from the State Attorney's office. 205 area code is not even in Michigan! Guy kept breaking up, sounded like he said his name was 'Shawn". Strong accent for someone named "Shawn".
They have called me months apart at work claiming i am under investigation by fed. I said please take my number off of your list, I am tired of being scammed, he said no worries. COMPLETE HACKER SOMEHOW OBTAINING ENOUGH INFO TO SCARE PPL. DON'T BUY IT!!!
I have received the same call and got all the information for the person on the phone and called my local sheriff department and explained exactly what was said and they told me to disregard the phone call it is a scam
They call me also saying his name is Shawn Wood from State Attorney General saying that I owe someone money. Caller ID show them as Starnet. But I type in Starnet and it came up as Starnet Communications.
