I get about 2-3 calls per week from ESI and not once have they responded to my initial "Hello" and that's as far as it goes. I call the number back and phone company says it's a special line, sorry. Seem like they are protecting these A-Holes by offering this service.
I get a call from this number every day. They claim to represent the EMT paramedic police officer's blah blah blah, but I'm not buying it. Just ask to speak to a supervisor and you'll see what I'm taking about. Total pests.
I got a message saying they were from the SOUTHEASTERN VETERANS ASSOC., they gave me a website SEPVA.com, but it came up with nothing. Same phone 1 205 313 0983. As soon as I held them on the phone while I looked them up, he said, "You have yourself a good day." CLICK!
Hi Linda, where I am, you have to stay on top of the National Do Not Call Registry. You probably already know this but it doesn't last "forever"... I was on it but it only went for about six months before more calls from slightly different numbers started up.
These people call constantly asking for money, saying they are calling for veterans. Today, a SUNDAY, the guy became extremely dodgy, asking for another person altogether -- became belligerent when I told him he had the wrong number, saying "that's what's wrong with your crappy generation", no kidding -- I had said hello hello and then who is this when I had no answer but for some reason this offended HIM.
Enough is enough, pal.
