I just got a phone call from this number. On my caller ID it showed up only as 313-0985 and when I questioned him about where he was calling from he told me his company was located in Atlanta GA. He told me he was collecting for local EMS services. The call was definitely suspicious. After reading all of these reviews I am glad I didn't tell him any of my information.
Just received a phone call from this number 205-313-0983. Guy asked for my husband and when asked him his name he said Dave Tomlinson and refused to tell me what he was calling about. He called last week and it was the same deal. I figured this was another scam-- we've gotten other 205 calls for a scam where they repeatedly call asking for money to pay blind people to make household products. My husband donated one time before he realized it was a for profit scam and now we get these phone calls all the time.
Just got the same thing, but the website he named was bogus. DO NOT GIVE OUT INFO for unverified calls. I always lookup callers when they have me on the phone to see tax status. This appears to be a call center for many different organizations. As soon as I said, "Let me check out your website..." He hung up.
If they are using WOUNDED vets to get fake donations, they they have their own karma coming.
Just got a call from this number tried to call back but said it couldn't be answered with this ext????//WHAT Said it was to benefit veterans........after reading these posts...won't be giving anything to these people.
I get about 2-3 calls per week from ESI and not once have they responded to my initial "Hello" and that's as far as it goes. I call the number back and phone company says it's a special line, sorry. Seem like they are protecting these A-Holes by offering this service.
