Delbert Services / CashCall trying to collect on Internet PayDay loan fees that I do not owe. ONLINE PAYDAY LOANS EXCEEDING $500 ARE ILLEGAL IN VIRGINIA. Contact with state consumer agencies indicate we are only obligated to repay original PRINCIPAL amount of the loan. If you've done that DON'T PAY ANOTHER DIME!!! Close your bank account(s) to stop draws, send them a Cease & Desist letter (http://thompsonhall.com/example-cease-desist- ... lection-agency/). If they do not cease any and all collection efforts then report these sorry crooks to the Federal Internet Crime Division (http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx), the Virginia SCC (https://www.scc.virginia.gov/bfi/files/complaint_info.pdf), Federal Consumer Finance Protection Bureau (http://www.consumerfinance.gov/), the Federal Trade Commission (http://www.ftc.gov/), and the Virginia State's Attorney General (http://www.oag.state.va.us/Consumer%20Protection/Where_to_File.html). If you live in Virginia please read the information posted on the Virginia SCC site regarding payday loans (https://www.scc.virginia.gov/bfi/reg_inst/pay.aspx). Then keep a close watch on your credit report with Experian, TransUnion and Equifax. If a negative report has been filed by these PayDay loan scum and you have paid your original loan principal DISPUTE IT!! They CANNOT report negative data on fraudulent loans!! PLEASE EDUCATE YOURSELF!!!! KNOW YOUR RIGHTS AND STAND UP AND USE YOUR VOICE, HOLD THESE SNAKES ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR PREDATORY ACTIONS!!!!
I received a phone call from this number more than once. I have a past due balance because I became unemployed and my unemployment benefits are quite limited. I have no other available resources to get money from. Not disputing the amount, but I've been harassed with phone calls from multiple numbers or an 'Unavailable number' on a daily basis. They call them 'follow-ups', I call it harassment. I've notified the Attorney General in my current state of residence and in Nevada, along with the Better Business Bureau. I've also contacted the Federal Trade Commission and contacted the company's Complaint Line directly. I was only able to leave a voice mail message, but I will be sending a letter to stop the harassing phone calls. I just want to be able to pay this off so they can stop calling me.
