My 89 year old Mother was called by this number and said that they were from the SS office and needed her banking information. We closed her accounts before they could do anything, but they still have all of her information.
Turn them into the FCC. I started doing that for every number like this that calls and telemarketing calls have dropped off a lot. http://www.fcc.gov/complaints
This number has been calling us for several days. Some man says
"if you are a senior citizen" and I hang up. I have tried calling the
number and a recording says this number is not in service! I am
going to report it to the FTC and the Do Not Call Registry. Jerks like
this should be fined and their number or calling ability canceled. Where
did they get my number in the first place? Whomever gave it should also
be fined.
My grandson has a great idea for these jerks!!! I am going to blow a whistle as loud as I can
when they answer at the end of their pitch!!! Won't hurt me and I hope it hurts them
