The caller stated he was with the Alabama FOP (Fraternal Order of Police) and they are collecting money. He also said he was calling from a "machine". I cussed him out and told him the FOP doesn't collect money over the phone and hung up. These people call every year and they are not for real so don't waste your time and whatever ever you do don't send them money or give them your credit card #.

These guys NEVER give up. I made the mistake of giving to their scam one year in 2007, now 5 years later they are still calling. I have told them repeatedly that I cant afford to give and lost my job, etc... but they still call. Last year it was from a Montgomery number, now it says Tuscaloosa..
This is a complete scam. Guys says his name is "Scott Boyd" with the Fraternal Order of Police. There's no one on the other end; it's computer-generated voice attempts to "reply" to what it thinks you said.
