I see you reported this number, but nothing happens when you report a number. I too get these calls and when I block it they just make up a new number and call about the same thing. So this works just like the government, report and do nothing.
Reporting here may not stop the calls, reporting to FCC or appropriate gov Dept is the thing to do but still may not help, BUT it helps me (and others) to be able to look up a number, determine if scam, then we can block the call.
Since I bought my Panasonic phones my life became mine again. I used to get average 20 scam calls a week. Now I search numbers here (I never purposely answer an unknown #) determine if scam, block call, my phone even allows for me to silence the first ring so it rings silent then blocked. I don't get nearly the scam calls and when I do (by seeing on caller ID) I never know they called. Heaven!
Just got my second call of the day from this number......usually get 2-3 calls a week, so the guy must've been bored today. Just messed with him on the first call and hung up. On the second call, he started calling me some not so nice names! I just laughed and hung up. There's a 205 area code in both the U.S. & Canada, but that doesn't mean that the calls actually originate in either country. These people are low-lifes who prey on the trusting and the elderly. Would just love to come face to face with the SOB who just called. If, on the very slight chance that ever happens, it ain't gonna be pretty
received call again at 4:12p.m. today 3/17/16 saying they were from microsoft and to get on my computer so he could tell me what is wrong with it, get at least one call a week and yell at them to stop calling and they just continue. they were even gonna give me a technician license number today. lucky i am not one of the stupid people that fall for this.
