I keep getting these stupid calls. Personally I think the phone companies we are paying our hard earned money to, are selling our #'s on a call list to these companies. I'm sick and tired of it. If I don't know the number ( it's on my contacts with a name if I do) Then I just hit "end call" on my cel. Drops there call right away. Wish we could call them back and blow that stupid horn in their ear!!!!
You are correct, Telus sells phone numbers to third parties, they say they do not but if you push you will find they do.
The scam is because they charge for all incomming cell calls, you pay for all wrong numbers and scammers, forcing you to pay for more cell time, it is sad.
