These idiots left a message that they were the IRS and I was going to be sued and I needed to call them back at this number. The IRS does not call anyone! If there's a problem with your taxes they will notify you by mail.
Call blocker is your best bet. Also so NOT pick up on call numbers you do not recognize. Anyone hit by these IRS scams should consider blocking the following area codes:
206 253 360 425 509 564 also are code 202. The stupid scammers don't understand the difference between Washington State and Washington DC. They think that the people they call will think that the Washington State area code calls come from Washington DC.
Yesterday 08/04/2016 I received a call from this number 1-206-238-0073 saying the IRS will try to get in contact with me before the IRS starts the process of a law suit against me, and for me to get in contact with them by calling this number back.
