Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
Just received a call at 7:00 a.m. - auto "robo" call again with the scam that IRS if filing a law suit against me and this is the final notice and that I should call the department at 206-249-7322.
I returned the call and left my number as a message.A man with a foreign accent said he was with the IRS and that a law suit was being filed against me file # ???? I said what for? He said there was an error in the filing I felt it was a prank call as no year or SS# was used for ID so I said No there wasn't you are lying to me I haven't had to file in years He hung up
Received the same call as the rest. My husband tried to call the number back, 206-249-7322, and was told that the caller he was trying to reach was unavailable. As stated previously, I knew it was a scam call right away. IRS wouldn't call you with a final warning.
