This scam is effecting both of our country's as well as others. Most of these callers are calling from India and Pakistan. The best thing you can do is to teach your mom (and your family ad friends) about these scams, and not to answer numbers she does not know and not to call them back. Look into a call blocker device also. Some of these foreign country scammers are relentless.
