He responded to my ad on craigslist.  Requested that I give him my name, bank info and contact #.  Do not do it it is a scam.  I have reported it to the local police dept.

I am selling something on craig's list and the interested part emailed me the same
phone number.  Did you have a problem with him?

Don't do it. It's a scam.
