They have called numerous times and when I answer, I hear a ringing phone, and they pick up. The guy (same one each time) says who is calling for and his name in a mumble and I don't understand it. He tells me I have been given a grant from the US government for $6,700. I have never applied for a US grant of any kind and have repeatedly said I was not interested, but they keep calling. This has happened 6-8 times in 3 days.
I have gotten 8 calls in the past two day when my phone was turned off because I was at work. No message was left. When I returned the calls, I reached a foreign speaking man that I could not understand. When I stated that I could not understand him due to the heavy accent, he hung up on me.
