This is a robo call used by the scammers !! Block the number from your phones and report it !! When you block the number it will stop the robo calls !!
No, it won't; it will only block that one number but the unlimited number of scammers have unlimited phone numbers to call us on so it will never end. What's worse is that phone handsets only have capabilities to block about 20 to 30 numbers at a time but that I can fill up new every day.
Further, the phone company provider claims they only have about the same limited number of blocks they can offer us as paying customers.
I remember before the internet was the go-to place for everything including the evening news and weather, I received at most one junk call per month and that was often a misdialed number. Now I get at least 5 junk calls per day. Gee, when every company company SWEARS TO US they NEVER sell, rent, or share our info to anyone else in any way, they are complete liars; they do anything for an extra buck. I've caught them at it by writing my name to certain merchants in such a way that it will reveal whether any junk mail and/or phone calls start arriving under that format/style, and who lied.
Sadly, there is essentially no penalty for liars, thieves, and scam artists.
We cannot even keep them from invading our homes through the internet, mail, and phone lines. If they did so through our doors or windows, we'd be within rights to defend ourselves from those intrusions and serious threats to life & property.
But not through any other method. And to have politicians be exempt from the Do-Not-Call Lists shouts VOLUMES as to who drives the bus for consumers.
I agree! I shop with a well known home shopping network who swears they do not share your name.. But how odd that they for some reason have added Jr. to my last name ( and I am a female)!! I am now getting all kinds of junk mail addressed to me with Jr. Added to my last name! They are all liars!!
Best idea I have heard is to save the number in your contacts and label it "Junk" than set the ringer to "No Ring" It will show up as Junk, who cares who it is and no ring. Delete the list when you get time
I cannot tell you how many times I have received calls from this company "Dont hang up"..... I have redialed and asked to be removed from list it DOES NOT WORK.............they call again 2 -3 times the very next day and on it goes. I get calls 2-3 times, every day of the week....
