I just got a call from this number, from a FAX machine. They called my WORK number (not the fax #) at 7:08pm cst on a SUNDAY night. Geesh.
Google searching doesn't show a business name. Probably some doofus trying to sell me health insurance or a cruise package.
I just received a call from this number, it was a telemarketing recording advertising a home security system. My impression is that One Cent Calls (the CID) is a semi-anonymous service that another company calls through to cheaply telemarket and screen out their own CID information. I asked to be removed from the calling list and am now filling out an FCC complaint (it is illegal to send out unsolicited calls starting with a prerecorded telemarketing message).
Got the call at just after 12:00pm, didn't answer and no message was left. Was from "one cent calls" on the ID. Called back and got an automated voice that told me if I wanted to be taken off their list of numbers for special deals that I should push the #1 key. I did so and will be waiting to see if they call back.
Just received a call. Checked the website Telcopac LLC - all numbers listed were disconnected. Searched website and found law enforcement number- also disconnected. Found name listed in L.A. - called it, answered but no one on line. What a racket. I will file complaint with Do Not Call.
I just received a call and picked up to find out who the company was and to request removal from the list. I got a rep who wouldn't identify herself or the company. I told her I was on a Do not call list and to please remove me from her list. She responded by saying, "I do not care!" and hung up on me!!!!
I reported this call to the Do not call registry, but I've received so many telemarketing calls despite being on the list that it's driving me insane!!!!!
