This was an insurance company trying to tell me that I had no health insurance and therefore would need their product.

As a Canadian resident who has both provincial and company healthcare coverage - and as I had to suck up roaming charges on my cell phone to get this bogus and misleading message - I found this offensive. Sadly, the company did not identify itself, though a reverse phone number check produced the following:

Should I ever move back to the U.S. and require healthcare coverage, my only option will be to avoid any insurance company based in Washington, which is sad if there are any honest insurers out there.
