The guy, speaking with a foreign accent, told me that they belonged to Windows and they have been receiving strange messages from my computer, specifically from my Norton protection program. He asked me to go and sit down in front of my computer to fix the issues. I told him that as far I know, I didn't have any issues with my computer. Then he told me that my Norton was going to expire soon. I told him that my Norton wasn't going to expire. Then he said: "Never mind," and hung up. Very weird!
They call our home phone all the time, asking for my computer serial number. I tell them if you know it's from my computer then you already know that information! They get mad and hang up.

Got a call from this scammer. Indian accent claims to be senior executive in company which is partners with Microsoft and wants to help with security issue. He knew my email account and wanted to confirm some things supposedly that my IP address was showing my info showing from different parts of world. he said they fix hewelett packard computers and mine isnt. Then ge hung up. When you call back you get vm.This is a scammer alright don't answer him.
