I just had two messages from an " Officer Jacob Smith " this morning. When I called the number back 206-424-8440 a Michael Johnson answered, asked what number I was calling from then put Jacob Smith on the line who proceeded to tell me that federal charges were being brough against me for a payday loan in the amount of $350 that was taken out in 3/2010 from CashAdvance, he also told me my entire social and banking information, including account # and routing #. I informed him I had never taken out a payday loan and that his call was fraud and I would be calling the authorities. He started yelling at me telling to shut my mouth, calling me a **tch and a ***king [***]! I said a few choice back to him and he hung up on me. We, my husband and I called back and he ( Jacob Smith ) staring yelling at me again and thats when my husband got involved and said a few choice things to him and they hung up on him too. I have pulled my credit reports and will throughly going over them and reporting to the Credit Bureas of this. I would suggest everyone else do the same. Upon Googling " Hudson Lawfirm " with the names given this has been a scam for a good while dating back as far as 2009.
