My call came from 206-445-6546. Their message said they had rented my timeshare for $3600 and I should call 719-313-5911 to confirm. Checking that number had a lot of both positive and negative comments, the most informative was this one.
"I received the call saying that "We have rented your timeshare for $3,600, please call to confirm." I called to make sure that they had not called me in error when someone else who was expecting the call wouldn't recieve it. The individual picked up and I explained to her my concern. She was briefly hesitant and I stated "Please don't tell me this is a trick." She was silent for a moment then went into her "scripted dialog" about "We can rent your timeshare for "up to" $3,600" People this is deceptive practice and I don't care how hard times are it is bold face lying! I reported them verbally and in writing to the State Atty General and I would suggest that you do the same. I found the company listed as Global Services."
For the past week now I have been receiving these calls at least four times a day!!!!!!!! Who the heck are these people and what is their home number so I can call them and harrass them????? They left a message that sounded like a prank. Someone on the other end saying hello? hello? hello?
