I was also contacted from the same number. It is correct that the IRS contacts a person by registered letters.  Please do not fall for this scam!

Called my house and said I owed money!  Do not call back!! Scam!

IRS scam call, left a voicemail:
hello this call is officially a final notice from irs internal revenue service the reason of this call is to inform you that i rs is filing lawsuit against you to get more information about this case file please call immediately on our department number 206-451-3624 i repeat 206-451-3624 thank you

I received the same message that this is the IRS filing a lawsuit against me. What a scam,
