Just got the call and recorded message (left on the machine) as the others have. 9:43 am on 1/27/16. Because of course the IRS calls from a Washington State number with "Unknown Name" in the caller ID.
Just got the call today 4pm 2016/01/28 stating to call this number 206-451-3624. I naturally googled it and found this site. I read all the comments along with watching the video of an actual call back. THank you Mr Curry. I too would have the same explitives along with desiring the capability to crawl through the telephone lines and get my hands around the necks of these a__holes. Its a SCAM.
report it to some police authority. don't know who, but report it to someone.
I got a call from this number and they left me a voicemail stating this was my last attempt to act before the IRS filed a law suit against me. I attempted to call back and the line is busy. I hope people don't fall for this scam..
Received the same IRS call at 0920 am. When I looked at incoming calls, it showed the call is from EGYPT! This prompted me to verify the area code and thus I am made aware of others who received the same call. How was my number obtained? Who do you report this scam call? I agree that the call is bogus, as legitimate IRS communication is handled in a different manner. I did not return the call.
