Got a call from this 206-451-5421 number. He was trying to get in touch with my father. I live in Maryland why the %$#@! would IRS call me from Seattle Washington?? He threatened me that if my father doesn't call him back, good luck. As if he is in alot of trouble. Bunch of bull. Using phishing to take money from innocent hard working people. They try to make you thing you are in deep doo doo and offer you an out of court settlement by taking bank or credit information. Why has the world come to this??
Got 2 messages from this number. called back and received similar threats.I called the IRS through my accountant and made sure my tax returns are good. As per IRS representative, the real one, this is a scam.
The IRS has this person name and this number, hope they do something about it.
