Left a recording saying that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me. My CPA said it's a scam. I never called the number back... But it was scary at first however I trust my CPA and he said the IRS will never call you... They would send you cerified mail.
Didn't answer. But this was the second call to my number from fake IRS agents. This one came from "Bainbridge Island, WA". The previous one from a different number came from "Washington DC". Both calls are blocked now.
Left a voicemail (an auto recording) that the irs is filling a law suit against me. Called them back both from my number and from another number, got a constant busy signal
Yes, it is fake. The IRS will never try to call you, they will always contact you by mail. If you keep calling the number back that the call came from, they will eventually answer. (it will be a foreign accent)
