Left a recording saying that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me. My CPA said it's a scam. I never called the number back... But it was scary at first however I trust my CPA and he said the IRS will never call you... They would send you cerified mail.
I got a call from 2064519142 claiming to be the IRS and stating a lawsuit was being filed against me for $6540 for unpaid taxes from 2008-2013. I called the Sanford Police department to report the call and was advised it is a scam. I called the number a second time and this time I warned the woman with the Indian accent that she desist from calling my home number but she protested she would not stop. I warned her sternly stating that the next call from her would land her in prison. At this, she hung up.
We keep receiving a "robo-call" from (281) 724-8404 saying I need to call (206) 451-9142 as the IRS has filed a lawsuit against me with a warrant issued against me. They call my land line at home and my businees cell phone, both are registered with the State of Florida and national "do not call" lines.
This number called my parents home. I called their number (206) 451-9142 back using my cell phone. Same issue. I spoke to officer Yolanda Smith employee #irs709 & was told my father owed $6435 for years 2010, 2011, 2012. When I asked why they had not received any letters, she said 35 letters had been sent out and we had 2 options to either pay or go to court and if we went to court that an police officer would be out with amy arrest warrant in the morning.
