Just got an automated message that said "this is (no name given) calling for (no name given) in regards to a legal matter. I will be verifying your place of employment today." It then goes on to provide an 800 number to call along with a case number to reference. For those of you that are unaware it's illegal for anyone to serve any type of notice this way. Furthermore, I'm a professional with no pending legal matters and no debt. This is definitely some sort of scam. Beware

I just received the same call with tel #206-452-4763. The caller says "this message is for:_______" with no name given. It's in regard to "several pending matters you are being investigated for" and it's "your responsibility to contact the plaintiff prior to being served" and to "consider this your official notification" - "failure to comply will forfeit your right to dispute and a complaint will be filed with your county" - "call 307-206-4539 and make reference to case #128648" Caller number 3072064539. I am going to ignore this and also block it.
