The first call I received on my new cell was from this #. Right wing Conservative Christian Taliban crap. I had my new phone # on the Do Not Call Registry 2 weeks before I activated the phone. Be glad when the elections are over so we'll all get some peace & quiet.
I am getting calls from 206 area code. I Think a marketing company is passing or selling phone numbers. In the 14 years I have had my cell phone number, I was never bothered by unsolicited calls, until last week, now I get at least 1 per day. I do not answer any of the unknown calls.
I just got a call from this number. I did not answer. I keep geeting lots of calls from numbers with Washington and Oregon area codes lately. I answered one time and it was some sort of political survey. But after googling the number, I found other complaints of it being a scammer. They pose as people doing a political survey, then they tell you for participating in the survey that they can give you a deal on a cruise vacation. These are just scammers getting around the DO NOT CALL list laws because they claim they are doing political surveys, but in reality they are selling vacations.
I have been getting those calls to & from a co. they say there W/my credit card co. & would I like to lower my Int. rate,I just Hang up on Them but they call constantly & the one for the Political Party,I just hang up on them to,but i have minutes on my phone and they should pay for those Min.I am very up set over this.To the political call say they want to sell a vacation to,all they want is your credit #,People beware of these calls they are SCAMS.I wish there was something WE could do about this.I even called my credit card people & they said the same thing just hang up, normally the card holder calls to lower the rate.I get at least 4 calls a week,I am tired of it and what can i do about this.
I am my husband have been receiving numerous calls almost daily. My husband answered and was told it was a political survey. I didn't answer but have tried to call the number back which only gives a recording that "the number is not available".
