They're super bluffing criminals in this nation. Please Real F.B.I agencies to caught this evil criminals, an immediately.
I received the call today. I spoke with the buffoon on the phone who said there was a criminal case against me. I asked who he was and he said he was Attorney James Morrison. He said I was under indictment for not paying my taxes. I asked why I was not served a subpoena and he responded that I was served 7 times. I laughed and asked to what address and he named an address I have never lived at. I told him I was recording the conversation. I let him know my brother was an attorney and we would follow up with his supervisor. He then told me he was the lead investigator and did not have a supervisor. I told him it is the government everyone has a supervisor! I asked why the IRS would use an attorney as a lead investigator in a minor tax issue. He replied this was a big deal. I told him then he should confirm my information and he said he was not allowed to do that. I told him I would come down to his office and he said he was unable to give out this information. I finally got his address as 172 Poor Woodlands Drive, Gwynn Oak, MD 21207. I asked why he had a Seattle WA number with a MD address. He said it was how the numbers are given. I called BS and told him he was full of it. He hung up on me and I called him back. I told him to cut his crap that I had busted him. He hung up on me again. I called him back it went to voicemail. I left him a message telling him I busted him and he needed to fess up. I called him back a third time and he said I had the wrong number. I told him I recognized his number and his voice. He pulled the Shaggy defense of "It wasn't me!"
"James Morgan" from the "IRS" called a client today leaving this as a return number. The message was threatening in nature and thankfully our client saw through it.
Please share with your friends, neighbors and especially older loved ones...the IRS will not call you!! They send a million letters to you first. This is a scam and like mentioned in the earlier posts report any suspicious contact (email and by phone) to help catch these guys.
Always, always verify any correspondence you receive from a taxing agency by calling a tax professional.
This number called me claiming to be irs. The call number was from 206-495-9518. Says to have me or my attorney call and to not disregard this message and he sounds like he is of a different country
