Now Pita, little old ladies aren't any more stupid that you for saying that. I'm a 68 year old retired English Teacher and I've been around the block a few times. I can smell bad cabbage a few feet away.
Same complaint. But note: a false claim is made that "We have sent you several letters about this." This together with the true statement "There is nothing wrong with your credit card balance..." The latter is reassuuring the former threatening by implication. What sucker would be drawn into such scheming mendacity and such obvious stuff!?
Phone rang with this number on my caller ID; however, they hung up before the answering machine ever picked up. The ID was "financial svc". I called the number back and received a recording thanking me for calling back and telling me I had received a call from a telemarketing service. I thought if you were signed up on the "do not call list" that you would not receive calls from telemarketers. Anyway, the prompt was to press one (1), if you do not wish to be called by them anymore. I do so and was then told that it would take 24 hours before the number was removed. Hope this does the trick; however, there are 10 more waiting to call just like this company.
i agree Bev i just got a call from 206-496-0715 and the caller id was the same number i hit 1 to take to someone to try to get removed from this call list that should be on the goverments DNCL but isn't it seems so i called back hit 1 to be removed from there corporate do not call list
i find these companies annoying
same message as all the above people. I called the number and its a cycled message about typing 1 to get added to their no call list. It repeats 3 times before disconnecting.
