I received a call from this number on my cell phone this afternoon. In the recording, "Sarah" claimed I would win a free two-day cruise from one of the organization's supporters, but gratuities, port taxes, etc. would not be covered. If I had stayed on the line, I would have been connected with a "travel specialist." since the call came in on my cell, I hung up and tried dialing the number on my land-line. I got a recording, in a British accent, "The number you have called is temporarily unavailable. Please try your call later."
Just check the manual for your phone service. For my provider, I can key in a number or simply tell the system to pick out my last incoming number, and then I have them forward all calls from that number to any other number I desire. One option would be to send all nuisance calls to 206-496-0950 (!) or another of my favorites. But I think the best bet is to forward it to 888-382-1222. That's the dialup number for the Federal Do Not Call Registry.
