SCAM, SCAM, SCAM and LIARS. Recording saying "Political survey". These people are scammers and are NOT doing a political survey for anyone. To the people that write in these blogs "I am on the do not call list", Get a life. Scammers DO NOT care about a do not call list, just as bank robbers don't worry about your money beng safe in the bank. Wake up idiots.
In Texas, got a one-ring hangup call about an hour ago and one yesterday afternoon. So I used the blocking app on my new cell phone to kiss these jerks goodbye. So happy to be able to block now, but I bet my list fills up quickly! These spammer-scammers know no bounds and have no shame.
Called my fax line -- and only my fax line (very similar number to the regular line; usually both called in succession). The fax line is not listed. Either they got the number from one of the EXTREMELY FEW companies/people who have the fax number, or it was a computer-generated robo-dial. Interesting post earlier that supposes 206 area-code calls are coming from India. Plausible, considering the scam that appears to be the nature of calls from this number.
