You can if you have an Androide cell phone. The App is called "tcallBlocking". There is a free version in which you can block up to 3 ph. numbers and then a full version that costs $2.00, allowing you to block unlimited numbers. I just bought the full version to use the wild card. By using the wildcard, you can block an entire area code by entering <206*>.
I have been getting the same calls from various different "206" area code numbers, so I found this App and it has been working for me.
Just rec. a call from same number, 206-496-0957. Didn't answer it and they left no message. After looking at all the comments here, especially in the last 10 minutes, why isn't this being taken care of by the authorities, it is obviously a scam.
I received a phone call from the number 206-496-0957. They didn't leave a message. When I called it back, there was an automated voice with a British accent saying the number was no longer available.
Just received a call from the same #. It starts as a survey, tells me for participating I win two cruise passes and to stay on the line after the survey to talk to a specialist. I hung up and informed the household to not even answer the call from them again as it is a scam.
They are a telemarketing firm in Seatle Washington and sucker you in by posing as a political survey and that you will win a trip to god knows where. After you agree then they try to sell you crap.
Suggestion do not answer calls that you do not recognize. If you answer the computer will recognize it as a valid and working #. And NO, it does not matter to these [***] companies that your number is on the donotcall.gov list.
