Special Agent Frank Thomas called me today with the whole "Your name is part of a drug investigation bit". I asked him if we could meet in person and that I would offer full cooperation as long as he would bring a beautiful woman in her twenties that would be willing to go on a date with me. He juat called me... "Smart Guy", and hung up the phone. It was bizarre. I really did thinkit was the DEA at 1st. But them I asked myself, why in the hell would they want to call and talk with me for if I was in that much trouble. Are they trying to save gas? [***] Sequestration So I keep calling them back and pranking them. If you would like to help, dial 206-497-5936 and ask for Bob. I will call them tomorrow and introduce myself as Bob and ask if I got any messages.
This is the 3rd phone call I have received the first one I got just pissed me off and I started yelling back at the imposter there phone number was 203-583-5936 an the second phone number I deleted and today phone number 206-497-5936. I paid my local police department a visit after the first phone call and the reported it to the local DEA. I recomend to anyone that gets caught up in a conversation to get agressive back with them they will back down and just hang up. But it does need to be reported.
I made the mistake of calling them back. I got Paul Davis Spec. Agent with DEA Div.79 Badge # 1128. This was Friday 21st of Feb. I'm supposed to be arrested by Fed. Agents on Monday.
Yup, Special Agent Paul Davis called me minutes after the above report by J.G,, and left the message "bla bla bla open and ongoing criminal investigation, bla bla bla, Division 39". Looks to be a well documented scam.
Received a call at my office desk phone from a person claiming to be "Officer Paul Davis, special agent for the DEA" and he said that he had questions for me with regard to some "opening and closings and an ongoing investigation". He left his phone number 206-497-5936 asking me to call him back. The message was left on Feb 12th 2014. I obviously never called back as definitely to me this appeared to be some type of scam. Today, I decided to conduct a search on the web and I found all the posts about this phone number. I have no clue who may be impersonating a "special officer of the DEA" and I hope that whomever is conducting this scam gets caught. Seems like scammers are resorting to all sorts of ways to try to grad a persons personal information these days. Little did this scammer know that I work in the security industry and have for over 23+ odd years now. I recognized this call as a scam from the start
