Some person called and said they are from I.R.S. Internal Revenue Service. And asked if I had legal representation. They wanted me to take down name and phone number of the agent. I told them to send all correspondences by US Mail, and hung up.
I am from Loudoun county and received call from this number 2065013142. Same story, they said they are calling from IRS, I owe taxes .... , then in the end asked me if I can pay these taxes now. But thanks to this website, I found that its a fraud.
I have received 3 calls from this man today--when I asked questions he kept hanging up on me and told me no further questions and don't call him back! That he was placing a warrant against me and freezing all my assets--scared the [***] out of me.
I got the same call from the same person identifying himself as Officer James Morgan. They have the same script as reported in other posts. They seem to have practiced the script well.
I urge the readers of these posts to call IRS and file a complaint. Also call The FBI because the amount escorted may be going to an unfriendly foreign country.
got two calls in an hour from 206 501 3142 as recorded messages, from one Officer. Morgan, in strained accent warning "do not ignore the call but come up with an attorney", yet wished good luck ending his call.
any suggestions?
