Some person called and said they are from I.R.S. Internal Revenue Service. And asked if I had legal representation. They wanted me to take down name and phone number of the agent. I told them to send all correspondences by US Mail, and hung up.
I missed this call in the morning and here is the message left from this number.
"Need you or your retail attorney of records to return the call. The issue at hand is extremely time sensitive. My name is officer Jason muller(?) and hotline to my division is 2065013142. I repeat my number is 2065013142. Don't try to disregard this message and do return the call. If you don't return the call and if I don't hear from your attorney either then the only thing I can do us. I wish you a good knock(?) as the situation badly unfolds on you. So give me a call back. Thank you."
Got a message on my cell phone, went to voice mail. Call ID 716 320 0319 said he was Officer Jason Muller with IRS. Thick accent, message sounded like badly garbled robo call. Veiled threats, etc.. I called back and the same guy answered, I did not identify myself and asked who he was. He hesitated and I asked if he was trying to read a name from a script, this made him pause and he actually faked snoring and said he was asleep and to call him back LOL! I told him the next call he would be receiving would be from the F.B.I. he had no response and I hung up. If you don't ask for Jason Muller and identify yourself, he doesn't know what fake name he used and can't tell you who he is. Another lame scam attempt. I want this guy and his partners in Federal Prison soon.
