on july 1 , 2014 received the same phone call everyone else got. the guy's name was Kevin Miller, had a accent i thought was spanish, but maybe it was indian - and he was looking for my dad who's been dead for over 20 years. I played him for awhile as he said he was from the IRS and needed to talk with dad immediately about some back taxes. When I got tired of the game I cursed he up, down and sideways and told him he will rot in hell. He eventually hung up. I know this doesn't affect these scumbags, but it made me feel better as my elderly mother got taken in a similar scam a couple of years ago for a lot of money.
I received an odd phone call from number: 206.512.1426 asking for me by first name - when I asked who was calling he said some name and the Dept. of Revenue and I hung up. Didn't sound legit to me.
I received the same call today. The message stated that there is a court case against me from the IRS in Washington. I was instructed to call the number 206-512-1426. His name was Ron Stever. He said if I didn't do anything about this, it could result in getting fined or possibly going to jail.
