when I called the number back from my work phone - this is the recording: "press 1 if you wish to be taken off of our list. press 2 if you would like to speak to an operator" I pressed 2. "Please leave your message....." I hung up.

Called voice mail.  Didn't leave message.

Claims to be Seattle Times, asked for credit card info to subscribe, suspect scam.

Paid solicitation for new subscriptions including Seattle Times.
