Call received 11:04AM, 11/11/2016. Caller I.D. simply said "AA" along with the phone number. AA is the acronym for Alchoholics Anonymous, although I doubt that they would be making random cold-calls of any type; and I never have had any contection to them. I sent the call to the FAX machine, to discourage call-backs. I also doubt that it is a political caller, since the presidential election was held three days ago. (I smell a scam.)
Received 111/12 9:25 a.m., same everything as you, no message, always blocked BUT search on "AA" cold calls and you get a bunch of numbers - that CID name has come up several times for me, different numbers each time. Like I've been saying, what happens when these cretins spoof public safety, hospital ER or legitimate organizations with which or from which you may want calls - I'm thinking fraud alerts on your bank accounts, library notifications, SCHOOL EMERGENCY notifications? With the results of the election as they are, there won't be any help from the Feds - if anything they'll be rolling back the minimal protections already established - and naturally the State isn't allowed BY the Feds to do anything. Our hardwire landlines will be useless. I'm gonna go VoIP if I can find one with whitelisting...
